The focus on teen and twenty-something boozing masks a growing issue of older people who are being admitted to hospital with alcohol-related conditions. Working with The Maudsley Hospital in South London, who have pioneered specialist addiction therapies for older people, the film was broadcast to coincide with the release of £25 million from the Big Lottery to programmes targeted at people with alcohol misuse issues in this age group.
