Destination Canada
#Watch #WORK / Broadcaster Online via The Guardian, Mail Online / Production Company TCO London / Role Producer/Director

Produced this series of stylish presenter led travelogues designed to encourage British visitors to Canada across the summer of 2017.

The first set of films were fronted by the irrepressible Fred Sirieix from First Dates and saw us in Toronto for a “48 Hours In..” style film incorporating a helicopter ride, axe-throwing and wine tasting at the world’s highest “cellar”.  The second film was a roadtrip out of Ontario into the Canadian wilderness, a truly spectacular experience.

The second set were fronted by top chef John Quilter, otherwise known as the Food Busker. We made a city break film in very cool Halifax, then a foodie roadtrip through The Bay of Fundy where we tasted farm to table produce at its best and most beautiful.  We also made films in Prince Edward Island, and Montreal for Jamie Oliver’s Food Tube.

It was a packed schedule, full of incredible sights, delicious food and lovely people.  I know now why everyone loves Canadians.

TCO London makes “Premium content for brands who connect with culture” and draws on a vast, fascinating network of influencers in part gathered from its super cool publications Huck (who I’ve previously made this film for) and Little White Lies.
